Early life and Education
Shilpa Maskey was born on 14 April in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. She grew up in the same city where she was born. She finished her schooling and plus two education form Rai School located in Kathmandu.
Later, she moved to London for further study where she studies about arts. And she finished her bachelor degree from there.

Career
Shilpa Maskey was camera shy person in her early childhood. She was very interested in dancing. She was lived in London before 2013 and she was not sure about her career. In 2013, she returned to Nepal from London and started doing modeling. She discovers acting and dancing into herself. She started working with different people.
In 2013, she got a chance to work in a short movie called Shooting an Elephant. This movie was not Nepali. This was the first short movie for her but she had done some music videos when she was 16-17. Maskey has also done a Hollywood movie, Doctor Strange.
The Break up was her debut Nepali movie. In this movie, Maskey played as a lead actress in the opposite of another good looking actor Aashirman Deshraj Joshi.
