Early Life
Sandeep Lamichhane was born on 2 August 2000 in Aruchaur Syangja, Nepal. Then he moved to Chitwan district. Lamichhane spent most of his childhood in Chitwan. In Chitwan, he started training for cricket.

How Sandeep Lamichhane Was Discovered?
Sandeep Lamichhane was discovered as a 14-year-old by the coach of Nepali cricket team Pubudu Dassanayake during a pit stop in the remote Chitwan Province on the way of Kathmandu to left-arm spinner Basant Regmi’s wedding. Dassanayake found him and told to bowl in the nets. After that, he picked him straight to the national camp for under-19.
Early Career
Sandeep Lamichhane was very interested in cricket. In his early age, he came to the Chitwan district and started training at Chitwan Cricket Academy which is run by farmer captain Raju Khadka.
Sandeep made his List A debut on 16 April 2016 against Namibia in 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship. Lamichhane’s first foray on the international stage came at the 2016 under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh where he was Nepal’s leading wicket-taker with 14 in six games including a five fro against Ireland. He finished the tournament as second-highest wicket-taker with 14 wickets at an average of 17.7 and strike rate of 21.9. After this tournament, he made his debut in senior-team.
International Cricket
Sandeep Lamichhane made his grand debut in Nepal National Cricket Team on January 2018 for 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Two Tournament. His first match from National Team was with Namibia. His bowling figure for this match was of 4/18 in 8.2 overs. Lamichhane was awarded Player of the tournament in ICC World Cricket League Division Two. in this tournament, he took 17 wickets in 6 matches.
In May 2018, Lamichhane was added to the ICC rest of the world XI Team for the 20-20 international match against the West Indies. In July 2018, he was included in Nepal’s squad for ODI series against the Netherlands.

Every Nepali knows him as a very young Nepali cricketer who plays for Nepali National Cricket Team. But Sandeep Lamichhane is a very good singer too. He has done some cover songs including Muglan hera jadai chhu, Udash Thiyo, etc. Sandeep has a YouTube channel with the more than 10K subscription (1/28/2018).
