Early Life and Education
Sahana Bajrachaya was born on 15 August 1989 in the district Surkhet and later she moved to the Kathmandu. In Kathmandu, she finished her schooling from St. Marry English School, Jawalakhel. She has done Bachelor in Arts in Media from Wigan & Leigh College.
Career
Sahana Bajrachaya was working on the media before winning the Miss Nepal first runner-up in 2010. She began her career from Yugantar an interview-based talk shoe program way back in 2009. She then took part in Miss Nepal beauty pageant and grabbed the attention of audiences and different business personalities. First, of first, she was featured for Dabur Special. Sahana has been featured for other products such as Sprite, Pasupati Paints, Ganapati Jeweller, etc. She has worked in Image Channel, NTV Plus and Kantipur TV as VJ.
Bajrachaya also has done a music video Manakamana Sachi Rakhi by Satya Raj Acharya. She said that this video was just for an experience. According to Sahana, she does not have any plan about continue playing other music videos.
Journey to the Miss Nepal
Sahana Bajrachaya participated in Miss Nepal in 2008. But due to the protest of Nepal Communist Party (Maoist). Miss Nepal 2008 had been rescheduled for the sixth time and later had been postponed. Due to some of her personal reasons, she did not participate in Miss Nepal 2009. And again in 2010, she participated in Miss Nepal. She won the title Miss Nepal 2010 first runner-up. She feels proud of representing Nepal in the international platform.

In 2016, she posted a status about the Cristiano Ronaldo during the Euro Cup which was not acceptable for her fans. She dragged in the controversy for her status.
