EARLY LIFE
Rohit John Chettri was born in April 12 , 1991 in Kathmandu, Nepal. He was interested in music from his early age.He got his music inspiration from his dad who is also a music lover .They used to play musical instruments such as guitar and harmonium together.He used to participate in music competition from his school days.When he was seven , he sang a song of Karna Das titled Jindagi ko Bharasa in an inter school competition.That’s when he realized this was something he was interested in and love to become. In class nine , he formed a band with his friends namely Derailed where he was the vocalist and the drummer. At that time , He trained in Eastern Classical Music under Prabhu Raj Dhakal .After class ten , he started to perform at various pubs, bars and private events.

BISTARAI BISTARAI : THE HIT DEBUT
Rohit John Chettri debuted to Nepali Music Industry with Bistarai Bistarai in 2013.The song was instant hit and was trending song of 2013. The song has different versions and cover to it proving it’s buzz and popularity. It was the time when people would rarely listen to Nepali music.Bistarai Bistarai proved that Nepali music industry is also involving and became tha most played songs with millions of views in Youtube.The song brought spotlight to Rohit John Chettri and established his name in the industry.
PRAYAS : THE HIT COLLABORATION
Rohit John Chettri collaborated with Samriddhi Rai for the song ‘Prayas’ .The song was well acclaimed by the viewers and is still an evergreen song for the youngster.The youngsters could relate to the lyrics which tells the unsucessfull love story despite the effort.The song is still sung as jamming song by Nepalese youngsters.

What can be better to be a member of the band you admire since you were little. Rohit John Chettri became the member of 1974 AD in 2015.He recalls to buy the CD of 1974 AD with the money of deusi .He is now the youngest member of 1974 AD.Into the few months of joing 1974 A.D , he joined the US tour with the legendary band. He says it felt as if it was like something right out of hollywood movie for him.The new 1974 released hazaar sapana in 2016 which was publically acclaimed.
