Rekha Thapa is Nepali actress, model, producer, director, story writer, and choreographer who was born in Salakpur, Morang, eastern Nepal. She was also top ten finalist for Miss Nepal in 1999. She is one of the legend actresses in Nepali film industry. Till now she acted in more than 200 movies. She is best known for her glamorous, Chanchali, chhucchi roles. Early life and Education
Rekha Thapa was born in 1982 in Salakpur, Morang, Nepal. She spent all her early life in Morang. After SLC, she moves to Kathmandu for further studies. She was highly interested in the glamorous field from her childhood. Because of her passion, she continued to participate in various modeling and glamorous programs. In 1999, she participated in Miss Nepal and made a place in top ten finalists. Two years later she acted in the debut movie Hero.
Film Career
Her debut movie was Hero (2000) in the opposite of Rajesh Hamal. Till now Rekha Thapa worked in more than 200 movies and she is a most popular actress of Nepali film industry. Many newcomers especially actress influenced by Rekha’s acting, dress up, get up and styles.

She got chance to act in the movie Hero in 2000 and this movie was produced by Chabiraj Ojha. During the shooting of Hero, she became close with Chabiraj Ojha. After few years of togetherness, he proposed her and they were married in traditional custom. But, After ten years, they ended their relationship in 2012. Now she has been dating Sudarsan Gautam the actor in Himmatwali. In an interview, Sudarsan Thapa talks about the possibility of marriage but Rekha revealed that the affair with Sudarsan was a publicity stunt. Now she is single.
