Early Life & Education
She was born and raised in Tansen, Palpa. She completed her intermediate A level study from Kathmandu Valley College with a business major. Then she moved to Wigan Leigh College, New York Film Academy where she completed her graduation in business and social science. She also took a class of filmmaking. She was quite passionate about the glamorous field from her childhood.
Career in Modeling and Acting
Nisha Adhikari started her career in entertainment field from Gharbeti Baa (Used to be Kantipur TV show). She debuted in the Kallywood industry from the Mission Paisa film in 2009, where she appeared in the opposite of Nikhil Upreti. At the meantime, Nisha played many music videos and also worked as VJ in Kantipur TV.
Filmy Life
Her first movie Mission Paisa opened the math for an acting career. In 2010 she did two movies Naina Resham and First Love. In the meantime, she played various advertisements and music videos. Till the date, she appeared in movies like Mayaz bar, Apabad, Dhuwa Yo Nasha, Sunagava, Mukhauta, Bhimdutta and How Funny.
Nisha Adhikari Climbs The Mt. Everest
Nisha Adhikari reached the peak of Mt. Everest – setting the record of being the first Nepali actress to reach the highest peak in the world. She reached the peak at 8 AM on May 21,2013 Tuesday. However, Nisha climbed Mt. Everest as a guide for climbers due to financial reason.
Sha had to face a lot of controversy and hurdles regarding the permission. But she clearly explained those rumors later on. Adhikari had prepared a year in advance for an expedition where she went as an assistant of the Chinese expedition team and was accompanied by 11 other people including actor Arjun Karki.
Nisha also climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro(5,895 m) which is Africa’s highest peak and peak (5657m) in Tanzania.
Controversial Life
Nisha Adhikari was dragged into the controversy in media after attacking photojournalist in the premier show. Likewise, Adhikari also pushed in controversy after doing photo shot in Nepal Army Helicopter. Her relationship with Sharad also made a big issue in sometimes in the media.
Affairs and Relationship
After many years of affairs and relationship with cricketer Sharad Veswakar, she got married on June 30, 2017, with him. Sharad is one of the Key players from the Nepal National Cricket Team.
Nowadays, Nisha is working as a Marketing consultant for one renowned company. She has been keen interest in social works and involved in many organizations like a Rotary club of Nagarjuna. She seems to be more successful in professional life than in filmy life. Anyway, she is one of the best actresses in Nepali film industry.
Recently, she gave birth to her first son in America. She posted her son’s photo on Instagram. She posted her son’s name “Yuvan Nisharad”.
