Miss Nepal is the national beauty peasant of Nepal officially started back on September 9, 1994. Since then, beauty peasant event has been organized to find talented women from across the country. Women between the age range of 19–25 years can compete in the national pageant of Miss Nepal. Among many participants, 16 contestants are chosen and they start a one-month indoor and outdoor training & grooming course. In one month of training, they participate in various lectures, social work, photoshoots, interviews, and etiquette lessons.
On the coronation night, all the contestants engage in an opening sequence, introduction speech, and an evening gown sequence, where the 7 finalists are chosen. Then the final common question/answer round is held. In the end, the names of 4 winners are announced as
- Miss World Nepal
- Miss Nepal Universe
- Miss Nepal Earth
- Miss Nepal International.

1. Ruby Rana – Miss Nepal 1994
Rubi Rana is the first Miss Nepal.
Ruby Rana is first Miss Nepal in 1994 and also crowned the title of Miss Birgunj in the same year. She is a talented Nepali beauty queen and also the judge of Mega Model Season I, and the spin-off of America’s Next Top Model.
2. Sumi Khadka – Miss Nepal 1995
Sumi Khadka is a winner of Miss Nepal 1995. She is also an actress who appeared in several Nepali movies such as Samarpan, Superstar, Grahan, Ek Najar, etc. She was representative of Kathmandu and flight attendance by profession.
3. Poonam Ghimire – Miss Nepal 1996
Poonam Ghimire is a Miss Nepal titleholder in 1996. She represented Kathmandu in the Miss Nepal beauty peasant event in 1996. She moved to the USA and been actively associated with some Nepali communities.
4. Neelima Gurung – 1997
Neelima Gurung is Miss Nepal’s title holder of 1997 and also Miss Personality in the same event. She represented Pokhara for the first time in the Miss Nepal beauty peasant event.
5. Jharna Bajracharya – Miss Nepal 1997
Jharna Bajracharya is Miss Nepal title holder of 1997. She is a talented actress, painter, and model who have appeared in several music videos and advertisements and some Nepali and Hindi Films.
6. Niru Shrestha – Miss Nepal 1998
Niru Shrestha is Miss Nepal 1998. Actually, Jyoti Pradhan was Miss Nepal and Niru Shrestha was the first runner-up. But when Jyoti Pradhan went to the USA to represent Nepal in Miss World 1998, she did not return to Nepal after the event. So, she could accomplish her duty and responsibilities. At the end, Jyoti Pradhan got dethroned and Niru Shrestha (First Runner Up) was declared as Miss Nepal 1998.
7. Shweta Singh – Miss Nepal 1999
Shweta Singh is Miss Nepal winner of 1999 and current CEO of The Hidden Treasure which organizes Miss Nepal beauty peasant every year. She graduated from Loreto Convent College, Lucknow where she studied Psychology with Human Behaviour and Organisational Behaviour. Shweta Singh has been involving in several business organizations.
8. Usha Khadgi – Miss Nepal 2000
Usha Khadgi is Miss Nepal title holder of 2000. She represented Birgunj in Miss Nepal in 2000. She was also the first runner-up of Miss Pokhara in 1999 and the first runner-up of Miss Birgunj in 2000. She is the 9th Miss Nepal second Miss Nepal from Birgunj after Ruby Rana.
9. Malvika Subba – Miss Nepal 2002
Malvika Subba is the Miss Nepal winner of 2002. Malvika is a very popular face in Nepali modeling and glamorous field. She is a model, actress, Social activist, Television Personality and Entrepreneur. She represented Dharan in Miss Nepal 2002.
10. Priti Sitaula – Miss Nepal 2003
Priti Sitaula is Miss Nepal winner of 2003. She represented Nepal internationally in Miss World 2003 platform that was held on 6th December in China. She is a beauty counselor and conducting different beauty training along with other Miss Nepal winners.
11. Payal Shakya – Miss Nepal 2004
Payal Shakya is Miss Nepal title holder of 2004. She has been living in Sydney, Australia with her family. She was associated with the Cancer Relief Society before she moved to Australia.
12. Sugarika KC – Miss Nepal 2005
Sugarika KC is Miss Nepal title holder of 2005. She is a social activist and TV/Radio presenter who has studied environmental science. Sugarika KS is known as one of the best anchors of Nepal.
13. Sitashma Chand – Miss Nepal 2007
Sitashma Chand is Miss Nepal winner of 2007, beauty queen and professional model. She was crowned as Miss Nepal 2007 and represented Nepal in Miss World that was held on December 1, 2007.
14. Jenisha Moktan – Miss Nepal 2009
Jenisha Moktan is Miss Nepal’s winner of 2009. She is a popular face in the Nepali glamour industry. Currently, she holds the director position of the DM foundation.
15. Sadichha Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2010
Sadichha Shrestha is Miss Nepal title holder of the year 2010. She also won the title of Miss Photogenic, Miss Best Walk, Miss Best Personality in the same event. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2010. She has been involving in various Social Activities.
16. Malina Joshi – Miss Nepal 2011
Malina Joshi is Miss Nepal 2011 winner, professional model, and actress. She represented Dharan in Miss Nepal 2011. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2011 in London. She was also on the top-30 for Beauty with a Purpose title, a major award at Miss World. In recent years, she has been actively involving in films and music videos.
17. Shristi Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2012
Shristi Shrestha is Miss Nepal 2012, a professional model, and an actress. She is the titleholder of Miss Chitwan 2012, Miss World 2012 (Quarter Finalist), Top Ten Multimedia Award at Miss World 2012, Top 10 Dancer at Miss World. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2012 that was held in China and won multiple titles.
18. Ishani Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2013
Ishani Shrestha is Miss Nepal title holder of 2013. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2013 in Bali, Indonesia where she made history by securing a top 10 position and winning the Beauty with a Purpose title.
19. Subin Limbu – Miss Nepal 2o14
Subin Limbu is Miss Nepal 2014 represented Dharan in Miss Nepal 2014. She is the 19th Miss Nepal and third Miss Nepal from Dharan. Subin Limbu represented Nepal in Miss World 2014.
20. Evana Manandhar – Miss Nepal 2015
Evana Manandhar is Miss Nepal winner of 2015, Media personality, Business Woman and Social Activist. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2015.
21. Asmi Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2016
Asmi Shrestha is Miss Nepal title holder of 2016. She is Nepali model and beauty queen who won the Face of Classical Diamond Jewelers award. She is also a Television presenter by profession. She represented Nepal in Miss World 2016.
22. Nikita Chandak – Miss Nepal 2017
Nikita Chandak is Miss Nepal 2017 winner and also Miss Popular choice and Miss Confidence award. She represented Nepal in Miss world in China. Shrinkhala Khatiwada is Miss Nepal 2018 winner. She is an architect by profession and has been working in various social activities. She represented Hetauda in Miss Nepal 2018 and first Miss Nepal from Hetauda.
24. Anushka Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2019
Anushka Shrestha is a winner of Miss Nepal 2019. She is a banker by profession and she was working in the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for two years before coming to the Miss Nepal competition.
25. Namrata Shrestha – Miss Nepal 2020
Namrata Shrestha is the 25th Miss Nepal world. In the grand finale, Supriya Shrestha of Kathmandu bagged the title of Miss Nepal Earth, and Simal Kanaujiya was announced Miss Nepal Supranational. Similarly, Sandhya Sharma was announced as Miss Nepal International.
