Malvika Subba is well-known public figures, celebrity, social activist and entrepreneur of Nepal. She is the Miss Nepal 2002 and host of numbers of television shows, an actress of films, and involved in numerous social campaigns over time.
In 2011, she co-founded the House of Alternative Apparel, a retail clothing store with in-house designers. If all that weren’t enough, Malvika also found time to helm magazines such as WAVE and Navyataa, as well as choreographing pageants and hosting a slew of events year-round.

Early Life and Education
Malvika Subba was born on 19 July 1981 in one of the most popular and beautiful cities Dharan, Nepal as a third child of her parents. She grew up in a middle-class family in Kathmandu. Her father was a policeman and the mother was a nurse.
Malvika completed plus-two education from Galaxy College and later she got graduated in BBA. And she is also graduated in MAMCJ from Kantipur City College (Purbanchal University).
Personal Interests of Malvika Subba
Malvika was interested in media studies but she did management because there were not any media studies at that time. She was interested to take part in Miss Nepal since 1994. Her dream later came true in 2002.
Malvika’s interests include reading books, watching television, movies, and traveling. Some of her favorite books are The Harry Potter, The Twilight Series, The Kite Runner, The girl with the Pearl Earrings! etc. she loves romantic comedies movies.
Career and Journey of Life
Malvika Subba was a very smart and bright child. She was interested in the glamorous world since her childhood. Miss Nepal crown opened her door for the glamorous world, photo shoots for online magazines and other portals. She started her TV career in 2001 before becoming Miss Nepal with Divyaa Drishti channel.
She has worked for Call Kantipur in Kantipur television. Subba is an actress too who had acted in a couple of movies and some drama. Hamri Shiwani was the first drama in which Malvika was featured. A 2008 Indo-Nepal joint venture movie God Lives in Himalayans was produced by Sunil Thapa. In this movie, she was featured in a leading role but this movie is not released until today.
Malvika Subba as a Social Activist
Malvika Subba believes in dreaming, doing and achieving. She was interested in social work from an early age. Thus, she actively participated in social activities and social initiatives. In 2008, she worked for Voice of India, MTV EXIST as Ambassador for human trafficking. She is also associated with Youth Spoken Person for Human Free Campaign 2007 and HIV/AIDS Youth Leader 2006-2009.
Affairs and Married Life
Malvika Subba had various affairs before met to Riyaz Shrestha but she was not committed to the steady relationship. She met Riyaz Shrestha in the USA in 2009 for the first time. The second meeting in 2011 at Kathmandu helped them to start a new relationship. They were in date for six months. After deciding to take their relationship to next level, they tight the knot on 25th April 2012. They have a son Zayir Rio Subba Shrestha.
