Jangmu Sherpa (Jangmu Enn Sherpa) is a Nepali model, presenter, social activist, and winner of Miss Mangol 2018. She came into the limelight after she got married to Chief Minister of Province no.1 Sherdhan Rai. She got married to Sherdhan Rai on Magh 11, 2077 (2021 Jan 24). Apart from her modeling career, she is a good speaker and program presenter and involved in social work.

Early Life and Childhood
Jangmu Enn Sherpa was born in Makalu Sankhuwasabha, which is a very remote place in eastern Nepal. But she grew up in Kathmandu city. She did her early schooling at Trinity and Alpine Valley School. Later she finished her higher-level education from Himalayan International Higher Secondary Schoo. She was a brilliant and distinction holder student. As she spent her whole life in Kathmandu, her tone is completely different from the typical Sherpa community. She was very inspired by her mom from an early age.
Modeling Career
Jangmi Enn Sherpa started her modeling career at a very early age. She found that the modeling and glamour field for her after she participated in Miss Kid Queen Nepal at the age of 11. She loved to face the mass from an early age. She than participated in other beauty pageants as well.
Later she took part in Miss SLC Idol, where she made her way to the top finalist and grabbed the title of Miss Photogenic, Miss Viewers Choice, and Miss Catwalk.
Slowly, she wanted to be in the music video and glamour field. She actually started her modeling career at the age of 17 from the sherpa song Nading. She has appeared in a number of music videos and featured in Nepali magazines. She is also a good MC, program presenter.
Her Aim
Although none of her family are from the glamourous or modeling field, she chose this field to be different. She wants to break the legacy that Sherpas are not only for mountain climbing but also equally talented in other fields. Besides her modeling and host profession, in the long run, she wants to run her own business in the future. Also, continue social work as much as possible.
Jangmu Sherpa in Social Works
She is the founding president of “Miss Mangol Scholarship Fund“. She along with her co-founders and first runner-up Preeti Gurung, Second Runner-up Punam Sherpa jointly started this nonprofit organization. This organization mainly helps those students who are financially weak.
She has been traveling across the world to raise campaign and money for MMSF. The organization is moving forward with the motive of “Education is the mother of all professions” and helping needy ones with their education.
Married Life
She got married to the chief minister of Province 1, Sher Dhan Rai. She came into the limelight. There was lots of criticism about the age difference between her husband. She is just 23 and Sher Dhan Rai is 48.
