Indira Joshi Biography
Indira Joshi is a Nepali singer, model, and dancer who was born on 18th July 1990 in Parasi Bazar, Nawalparasi. She is popular for her stage performance. She is also known as Nepali Shakira. Indira’s dance moves and hip movement have certainly made her the Nepalese Shakira. She sang a song from her childhood. Her grandmother loved Bhajan and taught her. Indira made a stage performance when she was in the nursery. Her mom used to say that when Indira sings a song that makes feel better and relax.
Indira Joshi is currently popular as judge of the reality shows Nepal Idol. She has given hit song such as Udhreko Choli, Rato Ghagara, just one click, Behuli, Boyfriend etc. Her song Reli Mai has gone trending on Tik Tok.

Early Life and Education
Indira Joshi is originally from Nawalparashi where she used to participate in a various singing competition. After winning a district-level competition, she came to Kathmandu to participate in a program ‘Ko bhanda ko kam’ and won the title. She passed SLC from the Shayapatri Higher Secondary School in Nawalparashi. After SLC, she moved to Kathmandu for further career and joined a music school Doreni Sangeet Pathshala. At that time the singing competition ‘Nepali Tara’ has been started and decided to participate in this musical competition. After an audition, she selected for the next round. She was able to be only one female finalist.
Nepali Tara opened a new door of opportunities to Joshi and became a playback singer of many Nepali movies. She released solo album ‘Dance with me’. She is also the winner of Kantipur Music Honors Best female pop De Re Na Awards for international collaboration, most enchanting award Nepali Tara, Best Female singer etc.
Affairs and Relationship
Till the date, she is not involved in any kind of relationship and affairs. When media ask her about her plan of marriage, she says that she is not prepared for it and she does not have any dream guy too. But she wants a guy who can make her feel like wow when she meets him.
