Brijesh Shrestha is a Nepali music producer, singer, and songwriter. Best known for his songs like Maicha, Sarara, Dalli, he is one of the best music composers and producers in Nepal.
EARLY LIFE
Brijesh Shrestha was born on September 9, 1993. He was born in Dharan but currently resides in Kathmandu. Born in a middle-class family, Brijesh’s mother is a housewife and his father used to a be singer and musician in Radio Nepal. Brijesh got his musical inspiration from his father and started his music career at his early age. He gave his +2 from Sunsari Technical College. He joined the bachelor’s but dropped out of his college due to his family condition. He started to focus on his music career.
MUSIC CAREER
THE ROUGH START AND STRUGGLE
Brijesh started roughly at the beginning. He came to Kathmandu with Rs 2500 and slept on the road for an entire week. He wanted to be independent at his early age and came to Kathmandu to fulfill his dream. When he debuted, Brijesh Shrestha was an unknown name to many. But he didn’t give up. Despite being abundant in talent, making music requires money which Brijesh was short of. He used to make music tracks but would earn as little as 1500 only. His mother sold her gold necklace to buy him a computer so that he could make music.
He released several songs on his Youtube channel Brijesh Shrestha. Naruwana by Brijesh Shrestha was one of the underrated songs released in 2013.

NESS STUDIOS
Brijesh Shrestha started his own music studio namely Ness studios. He started to record music and produce music for himself and other musicians. The ness studio released its first song namely Rang which was highly acclaimed by the viewers and brought the spotlight to the ness studios and the singers, Brijesh Shrestha and Nikhita Thapa. The studio collaborates with other musicians such as Barsha Karmacharya, Beyond, Ekadev Limbu, and so on.
RANG: THE FORTUNE MAKER
Brijesh Shrestha collaborated with Nikhita Thapa to release the fresh song, Rang. The song brought Brijesh into the spotlight and people started to notice his talent. The lyrics were written by Nikhita. The flute was played by Sanjeev and the guitar was played by Sanjal Bhandari.
OH MAICHA, DALLI: BACK TO BACK HITS
Brijesh then collaborated with Barsha Karmacharya for his Newari fusion song ‘ Oh Maicha’. The song was well acclaimed by the viewers and listeners. The song went trending on Youtube and became a hit. The song was composed casually and then, they made it into the song. They never expected the song to go this far and felt overwhelmed by the positive responses and love the song received.
Then, they released Dalli which was their next back-to-back hit song. Brijesh says Dalli was the song that was rejected by the Film producers and stayed in stock for 2 years. He had almost forgotten about the song until he accidentally played the music in his playlist. He thought that he should work on this music. The song went viral in the Tiktok and became the trending song.
RELATIONSHIP AND GIRLFRIEND
Brijesh Shrestha collaborated with Nikhita Thapa and Barsha Karmacharya for his songs. These collaborations led to rumour if he was dating Nikhita Thapa or Barsha Karmacharya. But he clearly stated that he is dating none of them and is currently single.
