Basil Rai a Composer, Producer and Song Writer

Basil Rai is a composer, producer, songwriter, and musician, and he represents [Indie/ Alternative] genre. Rai’s songs are best known for their blend of classical elements influenced by the style in the 90s guitar virtuosos. Rai’s love for music goes long back to his childhood, however, what has really got people talking about his music is his solo debut with the song “Tarah Maya Cha” from his debut album “Sansar Ma”.

Tarah Maya cha released on 25 April 2020 in all the music networking sites and now he is all set for his new song Sansar Ma. The song will soon release on major music streaming platforms too with a music video on Basil Rai’s YouTube channel and the promotion launch gig will take place in Sky Walk Geyzing, West Sikkim after the lockdown.

Basil Rai is also a present guitarist of the Alternative Rock Band Ace Of Spade Sikkim the band releases their first single Never Give Up produced by Ace Studio on 3rd May 2020 and he still performs with an ace of a spade on different occasions.

Basil Rai has performed many gigs in and around Sikkim and neighboring states. He has learned that practice makes perfect and persistence brings improvement. Though with varying pace, he hopes to practice more and definitely hope to stay persistent in creating more music in the coming future.
