Early Childhood and Education
Asif Shah was born on 14 November 1980 in the capital city of Nepal Kathmandu. He grew up in the same city and completed his schooling from the Everest English School located at Kathmandu. He studied Hotel Management the Aashirwad College.
Career
Asif Shah started his career from the Nepal Channel in 2002 as VJ. At that time, he produced and presented a various music-related program. Later Asif works in various televisions such as Image Channel, Nepal 1, Kantipur Television etc.
In Nepal Channel, he presented a music-related program. Sanga Sangai, Puraskar Dus Hajur, A day out with celebrity are other programs he presented in Nepal 1 channel. He also worked as a producer of the program “Music of your Choice” in Image channel. And he also worked for the Kantipur television. Now, Shah is popular for Nepal’s top reality show Nepal Idol Season 2.
Asif was working on various programs on radio, television and has done many Nepali music videos direction. And later in 2013, he started film direction career from the movie Karkash which became hit number of this time. This movie gave him fame as a movie director. Then in 2017, he played another super hit movie Dui Rupaya which made him a star overnight as an actor.
