Anshika Sharma is Miss Universe Nepal 2020. She beat 18 contestants to win the crown as Miss Universe Nepal 2020. She had also participated in Miss Nepal Oceania 2020 and ended up being the first runner up. Professionally a sales analyst in Australia, Anshika will be representing Nepal in Miss Universe 2021.
EARLY LIFE
Anshika was born and raised in Kathmandu. After high school, She went to Australia to pursue a higher degree. She currently resides in Australia and is working as a sales analyst at DHL e-commerce. She graduated from Central Queensland University in Sydney. Prior to Beauty Pageants, Anshika was involved in a few modelling projects . She had walked in a fashion show for Yubi Collection.
MISS NEPAL OCEANIA 2020
Anshika Sharma participated in Miss Nepal Oceania 2020 and ended up being the first runner up in the pageant. Miss Nepal Oceania was held on 14th March 2020 at Orion Function Centre, New South Wales, Australia. She was crowned as the runner up by the former Miss Nepal Oceania 2019 and Miss Nepal World 2019, Anushka Sharma. She also won the Public Choice award in the pageant.
MISS UNIVERSE NEPAL 2020
Anshika Sharma participated in the first edition of Miss Universe Nepal 2020 where she was able to win the crown as Miss Nepal Universe 2020 leaving 18 contestants behind. She also bagged the title of Miss Fierce in the competition. She was crowned by Nagma Shrestha, the first Nepali representative in Miss Universe. She impressed everyone with her beauty and confidence.
In the finale round, when Anshika was asked what is the one lesson that she had learned in covid 19, she answered that she has learned to be always ready for the challenges that life throws at her because life is uncertain. She also added that the government and individuals should be economically prepared as the pandemic has taught everyone that the economy is so important that everyone must be aware to secure their finances to move forward in life.
