If we missed we had to wait for the repeat telecast. So many nostalgic cartoons were aired on NTV and Disney channel .90s was the golden age for cartoon with so many evergreen cartoons made and telecasted. In this article, we will talk about the 90’s cartoon shows that would make you feel nostalgic.
1.Moomin
Moomin is actually a Swedish cartoon but Nepali dubbed Moomin used to air on NTV. It is one of the most beloved cartoon show in Nepal. The title song still gives nostalgia to the times we grew up watching the show. The Moomin Valley and the house, Sanu Maya, Moomin Baba, and Aama are some characters that we can never forget in our life.
2. Mina Cartoon
Meena cartoon is a cartoon produced by UNICEF with aim of educating and awaring people on child rights and sanitation. The cartoon featured the story of Meena and Mithhu, the parrot’s adventures, and their learning. This cartoon has a special place in the heart of 90s kids.
3.Recess
Recess is an American cartoon that used to air on a Disney channel. The cartoon is about the six brave fourth-graders at Third Street School who make it their mission to protect the other kids on the playground. The character of the cartoon had different swag to themselves and it was fun to watch.
4. Kim Possible
Kim Possible is an American cartoon that used to air on Disney Channel. The cartoon is about an average high school cheerleader known as Kim Possible but in her spare time, she saves the world from supervillains. Her buddy, Ron Stoppable, his pet Rufus, and a resourceful webmaster named Wade collaborate on secret missions and can do anything. Kim Possible was a girl crush to many.
5. Phineas and Ferb
Phineas and Ferb is also an American cartoon that used to air on Disney Channel. The cartoon is about the adventures of Phineas and Ferb who embark on various adventures during their summer vacation while her sister tries to bust them but always fails due to the contrary plan of Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Perry the platypus. The best thing about the cartoon is it’s MUSIC!
6.Scooby Do
Scooby-Doo, an American animated cartoon series is a cartoon featuring the adventures of Scooby-Doo, a talking Great Dane, and his mystery-solving teenage companions. It used to air in Cartoon Network .It is one of the famous cartoons of all time.
7. Timon and Pumba
Timon and Pumba is an American animated buddy children’s television series that used to air on Disney Channel. Based on the 1994 Disney animated film The Lion King, it centers on Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog, as they live their problem-free philosophy “Hakuna Matata”.
8. Pokemon
Pokemon is a Japanese cartoon or anime. It tells the story of a Pokemon master, along with his small group of friends, who travels around the world to capture as many pocket monsters as he can.It used to air on Cartoon Network.
9.The new adventures of the Winnie the pooh
The show is an American animated television series that used to air on Disney Channel. The show is based on the book ” Winnie the Pooh” by author A.A.Milne.The cartoon features the story of Winnie the Pooh and his friends encounter exciting adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood.
10. Popeye
Popeye, the sailor who eats spinach and gets stronger. The cartoon is about the Popeye find himself in some weird situation full of adventures.
11.Tom and Jerry
Tom and Jerry is the most beloved cartoon for 90’s kid. The cartoon features a sequence of fights between natural rivals Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse. The cartoon is about Tom’s devious ways to catch Jerryy and failure in doing so.
12. 101 dalmation
101 dalmation is an American cartoon series that used to air on the Disney channel. The series is about the Cruella de Vil, an evil heiress who wants to make a fur coat for herself out of the skins of a hundred and one Dalmatian puppies. She makes an effort to kidnap them by hiring a group of thugs.
